Dog Walking in Johannesburg – It was a lovely morning, as always, with the two Alaskan Malamutes, Dulux and Belle. These two playful pups love to walk Johannesburg with each other, Ozzy and Roxy, and their walkers. We took a creative route of the area, with the dogs enjoying every minute, as each corner meant a new smell, or a new friend. The area is fantastic for exercising these pups, as there are plenty of hills, which makes it interesting for everyone involved. The two were their usual selves, playful and happy. It was a cool morning, which is lovely for the dogs. Many drivers and pedestrians going by smiled when they saw this handsome pack of dogs walking the streets. The Malamutes were well-exercised after their walk, but still had lots of energy to say goodbye properly. They’re always excited for the next walk, which is very soon!

Did You Know?

The Alaskan Malamute was thought to be a part of the wolf family? For quite some time, a lot of people believed that Alaskan Malamutes were part wolves. This is not true. Alaskan Malamutes are domesticated and pure-bred dogs, though they do look like wolves in some ways. Because they bear a resemblance to wolves, Alaskan Malamutes are often used in movies to depict wolves, so it’s easy to trace where this confusion came from.
