Dog Walker Bryanston – Penny, Zorin and Tawnee were very excited when they heard their walkers arrive. Zorin was particularly spritely this morning, greeting his walkers with great enthusiasm as soon as possible. We picked up their friends Chloe and Bella on the way, and had a lovely time. Ozzy and Roxy also joined in the fun. They always love seeing their friends. The three German Shepherds were very well-behaved and walked really well together. They were cool, calm and collected. It’s been warming up a lot lately, so it was good to walk these dogs in the early morning They seemed to have a very good time. We always look forward to our next one with these three!

The German Shepherd Dog is an intelligent breed. Because they are eager to please, they are easily trained to be obedient and protective. German Shepherd Dogs are often used as working dogs in many capacities, including search and rescue, military, police or guard dogs. They are also used as service dogs (such as guide dogs). The original purpose for the German Shepherd, was to herd sheep, cattle or any other animal that may require the assistance of a shepherd. Despite the presence of “shepherd” in the name, some people are surprised to hear that these dogs were originally bred for herding, as the breed is more often found working as a guard dog, police dog or companion pet than in the field working sheep.
