Walking Dogs in Cresta

It was a cool morning to be walking dogs in Cresta. We started off with our favourite Alsatians, Penny, Zorin and Tawnee. Lynne wasn’t joining us for the first time in a while and the dogs seemed to be handling it better than expected. The road was quite busy this morning, and people loved watching these lovely dogs pass by while they sat in traffic. Zorin was particularly excitable this morning, and tried to pass on his feelings to the other dogs, but they seemed to be a lot more concentrated on their walk. They were quite relaxed on a whole, and it was a very pleasant morning. The walk was a little bit longer than anticipated, but no-one seemed to mind too much.

Did you know?

The German Shepherd, also known as the Alsatian, is an active and intelligent dog. He must be kept busy learning, playing, and working. He requires a lot more exercise than some other breeds, so it is important that he is walked often.

German Shepherds were the search and rescue dogs crawling through the ruins of the World Trade Center after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, looking for survivors and comforting rescue workers and families.
