Terms and Conditions

General:

All bookings are subject to the Terms and Conditions.
    1. By using any of Your Hounds services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed all terms of such services and agree to be bound by them.
    2. Your Hound does not warrant that descriptions of products or services on this Site, or that any other content of this Site, is or are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
    3. You agree to indemnify and hold Your Hound (and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliated entities, and their respective successors and assignees) harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, or arising out of or related to your breach of this Agreement or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
    4. Your Hounds fees are subject to change, at our discretion, without any notification.
    5. It is incumbent upon members to ensure that their personal and contact details are correct at all times
    6. Your Hound may use your personal information to conduct a credit bureau check for the potential purpose of providing you with any service.
    7. Your Hound reserves the right to direct certain promotions to a specific target group only.
Dog Walking:
Initiating Services:
    1. Prospective customers shall, prior to services commencing, complete and submit to Your Hound the required application form.
    2. Full payment for services is to be made prior to commencement of services.
Payments:
    1. Payment by a customer or by any third party in respect of any payment due to Your Hound shall constitute the customer’s acknowledgement that he/ she is bound by these Rules and by any amendment hereto.
    2. Your Hound only accepts full payment of services and does not offer monthly credit.
    3. Payments shall be due in advance and in the manner as determined by Your Hounds from time to time as it may apply per service package. Where payment has not been received by the due date, Your Hound shall reserve the right to suspend all services.
    4. Any changes/ amendments made by the Owner to a package will also be subject to the change in rates of the selected package.
    5. Invoices are subject to change and may be re-receipted if errors, incomplete information and the content is found to be incorrect. You will be responsible for payment of the correct invoice.
    6. Your Hound will notify you prior to the service starting and will notify you once the service is complete.
    7. Full payment for services is to be made at the beginning of the month, for that month, within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
    8. On receipt of payment, Your Hound will reserve your appointment and the customer accepts the booking as confirmed.
    9. Where a customer has paid an account, he/ she shall, in support of his claim, submit a proof of payment.
    10. Additional costs may be incurred should the service be required outside the 10km service area, at a rate deemed appropriate by Your Hound.
    11. Totals indicated in the enquiry form are only an estimate of the costs, which may be incurred and is based on the information you provide.
    12. If payment is not made within this time 5% of the total outstanding amount will be billed for each day the payment is overdue.
Extra Walks:
    1. Your Hound offers Extra Walks during a calendar month, which is charged at an additional fee, as determined by Your Hounds.
    2. The customer is required to confirm acceptance of this offer on completion of the application form, in order to receive the benefits of this offer.
    3. Extra walks will be charged on the customers invoice and must be paid prior to services commencement.
Park Trips:
    1. Your Hound offers Park Trips according to the package the customer has selected, and the customers chosen package rate.
    2. The customer is required to confirm acceptance of this offer on completion of the application form, in order to receive the benefits of this offer.
    3. Park visits will be charged on the customers monthly invoice.
Daily Schedule:
    1. Your Hound will schedule walks through out the day, starting from 06h00 in the morning, Monday to Friday.
    2. Your Hound walking schedule may be subject to change and will be communicated with the customer.
Make-up Walks:
    1. Make-up walks are offered to customers where a scheduled walk has been cancelled by Your Hound, and a date will be proposed by Your Hound.
    2. Your Hound will contact the customer to offer a date for the Make-up walk with in that same month.
    3. Your Hound does not offer Make-up walks in the following instances:
      1. Where the scheduled walk falls on public holidays. Your Hound does not operate on public holidays.
      2. If the customer cancels a walk less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled walk.
    4. A customer will forfeit the offered Make-up walks if not accepted on the proposed date(s) offered by Your Hound.
Cancellations:
Daily Service Cancellation:
    1. Failure to pay an amount due to Your Hound will result in the cancellation of all bookings and services.
    2. To avoid cancellation fees for a scheduled walk or visit, Your Hounds must be contacted 24 hours before the cancellation of a walk.
    3. Should YourHound cancel a walk, for any reason, the cancelled walk will be made up within that month and YourHound will notify you in this instance.
      Package Cancellations:
    4. Failure to pay an amount due to Your Hound will result in the cancellation of all bookings and services.
    5. One calendar month’s notice is required in writing if the customer would like to downgrade or cancel Your Hounds services.
    6. Your Hound will continue arranged appointments/walks until a written notice for the appointment/walk to stop is received.
Liability:
    1. Your Hound will not be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet.
    2. Owners accept full liability for any loss or damage caused by the pet whilst in the care of Your Hound.
    3. Owners are financially responsible for any loss or damage to their own, and third-party, property by the pet.
    4. Owners are financially responsible for any loss or damage to their own, and third-party, property by the pet.
    5. Your Hounds will not accept bookings for badly behaved pets or aggressive animals.
    6. Your Hounds may terminate an engagement immediately if it is thought that a pet is badly behaved or aggressive either towards humans or other animals.
    7. Owners will be liable if their pet injures a third party, human or animal.
    8. Owners will be contacted in the event of an emergency. Owners must provide Your Hound with the contact number of a trusted third party should the owner be unreachable.
    9. A call out fee is charged at R199 per half hour if services are required outside of the scheduled walk.
    10. Your Hound reserves the right to make decisions regarding your animals health providing it is at all times acting in the best interest of the pet and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.
    11. Owners are responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by Your Hound.
    12. Your Dogs may be walked/ run off leads, unless otherwise specified by owner.
    13. We will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary due to extreme weather conditions for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.

      2. In order to receive a 50% refund for services, the 5 day notice period must be adhered to.
